Christensen was born on 19th August 1982. She is an American actor as well as a
singer and model. Her filmography includes performances in Traffic (2000) and
Swimfan (2002). She was awarded the MTV Movie Award in Breakthrough Female
Performance for Traffic as well as the Screen Actors Guild Award in Outstanding
Performance by an Ensemble or Cast in the field of Motion Picture for her role
in How to Rob a Bank (2007) and The Tortured (2010) and The Case for Christ (2017).
Christensen played the character of Julia BravermanGraham in Parenthood the NBC
family drama. She was awarded the Gracie Award in 2014 for her performance in
the role. Christensen was Betty Beaumontaine in ABC's crime drama series Wicked
City. Christensen was the daughter of Kathy Christensen (a construction
manager) and Steven Christensen (an insurance worker and human resource
manager). Nick is her half-brother who's older, and Brando as well as Dane are
her brothers younger than her. Her ancestry is comprised of Irish, Danish,
Swedish, Norwegian and Welsh ancestry. Christensen was born in Seattle and
lived in Seattle until she reached the age of four years old. Her family
relocated to Los Angeles in suburban Los Angeles as they searched for a new place
to live. Christensen is a member of the Church of Scientology. In her 20s, her
parents were Scientologists, and were raised as Scientologists.
